Hello!

My name is Ashley Hall. I am a Thirty *something*, Mother of 2 beautiful children. Most people may know me from Old Town Barber in downtown Christiansburg! I have been a Barber/Stylist for 20 years and absolutely love what I do!! I also have the pleasure of serving as a leader to our Middle and High School students, at Blue Ridge Church! I love the community we live in and I love to help where I can.

In my career as a stylist, I have had the opportunity to take 'Social Media Marketing' training!! I know the social platforms and how their algorithms work to allow for the best engagement and community building. I am proficient in the use of Canva, and know how to make captivating visuals! I already have so many ideas!

I had the opportunity to finally buy stock last year, and my family and I LIVED at the pool all summer! It was great! Being at the pool regularly to get and create content will be fun and easy!!

I hope to achieve the votes needed to become the next Media and Communications Chair for our beloved Ridgewood Swim Club!

My name is Abby Mundy and I am interested in the Media and Communication chair position for Ridgewood Swim Club! 

I graduated with a degree in Communication from Radford University and earned an MBA through Liberty University. In my current role with Orangetheory Fitness in Christiansburg, I am the Community Outreach Coordinator, which not only requires me to create partnerships with other businesses in our community but also requires me to build our internal community and manage our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram and TikTok). In this role, I utilize Canva pro weekly to create advertisements and I create reels to draw more traffic to our page. My family and I have been members of the pool for five years and are committed to the continued success of the club. I feel confident that I can provide what the board is looking for in the media and communications chair! 

I would love to be considered for the Media & Communication Chair. I have been a member for several years now and as we just welcomed our 3rd baby last June, we won’t be aging out of this membership anytime soon. I am invested in making this pool the best it can be for the families that use it! 

Not only am I tech savvy, I am well versed in social media platforms as well as website design, as I use these tools for my own online business. I created my own website and update it as necessary. On Instagram and Facebook, I have grown my following to almost 3k using the platforms to engage and attract users! A huge goal for the pool is to have all available memberships spoken for and attracting more of the community could do that! I would love the opportunity to take on this challenge!

Hi! My name is Ashley, and I have lived in Christiansburg most of my life. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of my siblings and I walking to Ridgewood each summer. I love sharing the same experience with my daughter every year! In addition to being a mom to 13-year-old Marley, I also teach 3rd grade. In my spare time I also enjoy traveling, reading, shopping, and photograph. 

Throughout my 18 years of teaching, I have became very familiar with design and communication programs. I use canva on a weekly basis to create newsletters for my families. I update my class website on a regular basis, and I use remind frequently to communicate important information with my families. I would love the opportunity to put these skills to use for Ridgewood Swim Club over the next four years.
