2026 Nominations

Hi! I’m Jessica Jones, and Ridgewood Swim Club has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve been coming to the pool since I was a baby, and now I get to share that same experience with my three kids, who are currently in 3rd, 5th, and 7th grades. Ridgewood has always felt like a second home to my family, and I truly value the friendships and memories it helps create.

I worked as a lifeguard throughout high school and college, which gave me a strong appreciation for aquatic safety, teamwork, and the work that goes into running a successful pool. Currently, I work as a substitute teacher in Montgomery County Public Schools, where I enjoy working with students of all ages and learning to adapt quickly to different environments and needs.

I’m excited about the opportunity to serve on the Future Planning Chair because I care deeply about Ridgewood and its long-term success. I would love to help the pool continue to grow while keeping the strong sense of community and tradition that makes it such a special place for families. I’m enthusiastic about working with others, listening to member ideas, and helping make sure Ridgewood continues to thrive for many years to come.

My name is Kyle LeDuc, and I work full-time at Virginia Tech in the Recreational Sports Department, where I serve as the Associate Director for Facilities and Operations. I have been in the area since joining Virginia Tech in 2019. Outside of work, I’m a husband and dad of two (2 year old and 3 month old) who enjoys staying active, tackling home projects, and spending time with family.

In my role at Virginia Tech, I oversee facility operations, and day-to-day support for two recreation centers with indoor pools and multiple outdoor recreation spaces on campus including 20+ acres of field space, tennis and pickleball courts, and the 9-hold on-campus golf course. A large part of my role involves coordinating maintenance, facility upgrades, and renovations/new builds. Through these projects I am constantly working with local contractors and vendors, managing timelines, and supporting budgeting and long-term planning for facility needs.  I feel qualified for this role because long-term planning and project coordination are a major part of my professional work. I regularly help plan facility upgrades and improvements by gathering pricing, comparing options, building realistic timelines, and working through budget considerations to make projects achievable and sustainable. I’m also very comfortable organizing details, communicating clearly, and helping turn ideas into actionable plans.

I would love the opportunity to bring that same experience and structure to the board, and help support future projects, upgrades, and maintenance planning in a way that benefits the entire membership.

I am a seasoned healthcare executive with over 20 years of leadership experience. In addition to leading teams and building programs, I have overseen P&L and created and managed budgets for national healthcare organizations.

 Amanda is a healthcare executive, serving national organizations across the behavioral healthcare landscape for over 20 years. She and her family also own and operate a small family farm in Floyd, VA (sheep, chickens, ducks, geese, lavender, and bees) & are opening a toyshop in downtown Floyd this year. The Mellowspring family originally came to Ridgewood for the excellent swim team community several years ago and enjoy the friend and family connections made at RWSC.
